I’ve checked my hubs and I appear to have correct bearings at the rear inner
but they still won’t fit tight to the back plate
They can’t be right bearings as they don’t fit deep enough in the hub
-
True could take 0.5 mm of my front stub axles
-
I’ll clean them up and put them on eBay!
I thanks I can’t believe that it’s only 0.5 mm out as well!
-
I stupidly started this late last summer and work and buying a property has stalled the progress!
-
Yes that’s correct the inner bearings are smaller than the outer bearings
-
Looks like they might be wrong then! I’ve spent spent £100 on oem bearings (ffs)

Thanks my LR is SWB on an X reg! Red engine block Ex military

I bought them from Paddocks for my series 3 and I presume that they are!
-
I’ve recently cleaned painted my hubs and changed the bearings with Timken bearings and new seals to find that they don’t slide over the stub axel!
Stub axle is nearly 0.5 mm bigger than the bearings!
Has anyone had problems with this in the past?
thanks

Thanks for the reply, I have heard that some Pro C's shocks rust within the gaiter!? If I was going for the standard shocks, then I was thinking Monroe! But it just comes down to money in the end!

Hi,
I'm currently restoring a series 3, and can anyone advise me on what shocks are best with parabolics springs?
