Thanks. Does it matter which hose (on the EGR Solenoid) goes where ? IE does the vacuum tank hose go on the inner or outer connection ? Inner being the one farthest from the battery ? Or is the other way round or does it matter ?

Hi I had a problem with my 04 plated TD4 Freelander which turned out to be O rings in the high pressure fuel pump (engine not starting), followed by not revving over 2,500RPM. All now fixed (O rings in HP Fuel pump for non starting and badly seated Crankshaft position sensor for not revving)...

The wiring to the common rail sensor was changed last year. The sensor itself was not changed at the time. The connections seemed OK but I will check again tomorrow. How do I test the pressure sensor....
