Hi it just sorted itself out!!!! So strange

Evening chaps. When I first got the disco II Automatic 1 year ago I kept getting the MS Flashing fault code and the car would go into limp power mode... this mainly happened when changing from Park to Drive/Reverse and Reverse to Drive. Something tells me it's something to do with my shifter...

All off! however............... My ABS and TC lights flashed on startup making a ding sound.... have I damaged the sensor?

Sorry I haven't yet, been preoccupied with the discs and brakes. This one Im changing the brake pads had completely disintegrated! the disc is also very worn. Evening Chaps :p I'm about to replace my final disc on the drivers front side. When I noticed this... Is it me being daft or is there something missing from my steering?? I've attached a drawing from google. Cheers for looking ;)

Got the full set mate. However mine were so badly corroded that it actually just slides when I used the correct socket. Had to quickly dremel down to the lower socket.

Mullered=Extremely Drunk? I feel like it after loosing my temper all night until I figured a feasible method out of removing the ba$t@rds haha. The car was going to the scrap yard earlier on! :mad::mad: :rolleyes:

Thanks! I have the Irwin extractors, they're great. however, two of the double hex retaining bolts have completely rounded... I had to file it smaller to fit socket due to being between two sizes. The socket just keeps slipping despite a massive grip to begin with.... any advice please? I've...

Good point mate. I appreciate your advice on my past two posts. As for the old one, it was so rusted, on turn of the 19mm double hex rounded it bare. I have some irwin extractor bolt sockets but its slightly too big for them, do you think I could file them smaller then try with another socket...
