    The SU i have fitted has a cable operated throttle which is on the opposite side to carbs like the weber so i feel it would be easier to convert to cable operation than modifying the linkages.

    I checked the master late yesterday, it was almost dry and had no movement, new master cylinder, slave cylinder and hoses on the way. Hopefully this sorts it, if not I will try your suggestion for freeing the clutch, cheers.
