hi folks , i have a wierd problem with my d2 td5 auto and was woundering if any of you knolageable lot have any ideas ?? ok here we go, the auto box drives fine except that when you expect the torque converter to lock it sort of half locks , if you take your foot off the gas it is locked...

are the sdv6 and the 3.0 tdv6 the same milage and time for the cambelt change interval as the older 2.7 v6 ?, looking to change and the milage will probably be 80 thou , so dont want a body off service stright away , thanks all

call mike at dynachip . he will run a full diagnostic check and then remap it , the best money you will ever spend on it , done mine 2 years ago and it still pulls like a train , d2 td5 es auto

its the thermostats job to kept engine warm , i suspect a weak or bypassing stat ,

Dyna chip comes to you and takes about 45mins , best money I have spent !! Have you checked for a blocked exhaust ?? Slack it off and give it a run , just an idea

We had a similar problem with exhausts on rover 2000 , I know it was a very long time ago but what you have had made is very similar in as much as the flange that fits to the head is a bigger mass of metal than the pipe and therefore expands quicker ending up with the pipe cracking at the welds...

That looks good , does it work tho , must admit I'm a bit sceptical if additives , if the consensus is a valve I will strip it and clean out , from what I read it doesn't seem too difficult .. Thanks anyway , mel

I know that you cannot drive a forigen retested vevicle in china , it must be registered locally and carry it's Chinese number plates , Also having driven in china it's a war zone on the roads , no reason to it but it seems to be who is in front has right of way unless what you drive is bigger...
