Been going through something similar with my '94 disco 300tdi, faulty head gasket and turbo, now just burns oil when working hard and seems to pressurize the sump. After a while it is ok again. I am now replacing the cyclone. Have you checked intercooler and cleaned in case any residue is left...

Hi, I changed mine on the back of the 300tdi disco 1 and lowered it to road before tightening fully, and it is fine. I assume you are talking about pre-loading the old matallastic ones?

common areas are where the wiring loom goes through the door pillars to the doors. the fuses are sometimes labelled on the lid of the fuse box and a good tester is the pen style led device that has a wire on the other end that fastens to chassis or ground then touch the probe to the fuse exposed...

Refitted a new gasket to the turbo drain hose and have ordered the breather pipes and cyclone valve from island 4x4

strip it as above post, oil the cable as in the other post, then leave it in gear and with a brick under the wheel.....

Hi, if the light is working, but I suppose it is on at start up? 20/50 is for most older vehicles and can't remember now if any difference for petrol or diesel...old age affects the wassaname...erm fingy
