hi guys got a problem with my 300tdi disc 1997. very recently after doing my head gasket it started to pressurize again and then i started to get small amounts of blue smoke on start up.and every time i left it would do the same then clear as long as you was driving. this got worse with basically filling the street with blue smoke. so i whipped the head off again to find i had been sold a cheap gasket. so this time i have fitted a dealer one and had the head skimmed and pressure tested plus got them to do my leaking valves and fit new oil stem seals. well starts first time in a morning now but i am still getting only a small amount of blue smoke for about 10 seconds then it clears.and the rest of the day its fine.the engine is running bang on apart from this plus oil light dont go out straight away in morning a few seconds then it goes out. what is the most likey next place to look for the problem .any help please

Been going through something similar with my '94 disco 300tdi, faulty head gasket and turbo, now just burns oil when working hard and seems to pressurize the sump. After a while it is ok again. I am now replacing the cyclone. Have you checked intercooler and cleaned in case any residue is left from previous issues? Also breather system?

no i havent checked the intercooler will look at that plus if it was turbo would i get it all the time or can it be intermitten being just on start up. as with yours if you getting pressure in sump that sounds like rings compression escapeing past rings down into sump cause if it get to bad it can cause the oil to come out through the dip stick.
