sorry. engine fitted approx 1998, i bought the car in 2000 and its done about 50k since the engines abeast and never let me down and reason why i am asking about price is comparing it against other defenders in lesser condition.(and wot do ya mean slitty engine)

try an find some food grade s/s thin wall pipe also whats called tri clamps these fit on to the slightly flared ends .You can buy elbows providing your ok with a welding set i made a bumper for me 110 out of it

Thanks for the reply.I have led,s fitted all round.i removed brake light switch yesterday and got them to work it was only when i put my head lights on i noticed the amp meter reading high and the other items went off but i will check out the earth not had the dash off but rebuilt landy 12 month...
