    Peddle height, angle?

After fitting my new footwell I decided to upgrade my brakes to servo assisted setup, as I had a servo pedal in the shed and my old pedal box needed welding. I have just bolted the pedals in and the angle of the brake and clutch peddle are different. Is this just something I have never noticed...

Daft question but have you used a Britpart clutch and was it ok ??

Britpart? Do you mean ****part? I would only fit a AP or OEM clutch to a land rover, gearboxes are way too heavy to be lifting about if you can help it.

Another weekend, more questions. Wing removal?

It is possible to remove them without bending the wing, it requires a lot of patients variousness length extensions for your ratchet and removing some skin from your knuckles Can't remember what size they are off the top of my head but at a guess 1/2''

    Hows got this set up

It sound like a big change may just take dime getting used too. You can adjust the lock stops on the front axle to stop the wheels catching but you will lose a little steering lock, alternatively you can fit wheel spacers.

    Timing Belt Inspection

Only problem you may have is if any of the gaskets need renewing when you strip it down. Personally I would be changing it wile I had it stripped down anyway as there not that expensive.

    Can i fit a 2.5t head & turbo etc to my 2.5na?

Also you will need an oil feed and return for the turbo, it's not a good idea IMO

    Power steering

Series 3 steering ain't that bad if it's looked after, I would look at the steering you have to see if you have a problem.

    What can causing this?

Yes clutching at straws, first Check your wiring connections battery, starter, alternator and also the earths from the battery to the chassis and to the engine. Look for loos or corroded connections. Then you need to find out if your alternator is charging, could also be a loose fan belt.

What have you done to your Landie today.

I have seam sealed round the welds on the footwell I've welded in and cleaned years of underseal, oil and crud off my steering box column ready for the new top bearing, hopefully arriving tomorrow.

how do you stop it leaking

I use stickaflex or the black silicone used for bonding car windscreens in. It will Make a big difference but it is impossible to make if fully watertight.

    Alternator help, charge light

Do you have a volt meter? If so pot it on the battery with the engine not running it should read about 12.7 volts and around 14 volts with the engine running if everything is ok.
