Thanks for the reply james I've got a brown which I did perm live a white purple fuel pump a white red which I did ing live .The pump don't even prime. Should I have done the white red perm live instead?

Can anyone please give me a bit of help. I've fitted a 3.9 efi to my defender and thought I would start it today . But no. The problem I'm having is that the fuel pump is not coming on and the injectors don't seem to fire. I've checked back to my wiring. ingnition live yes . Perm live to brown...

Not sure if the fuel pump is givin it enough now. Or the positioning of it isn't right. Couldn't find much on the net on the positioning of a facet style pump.

Ive got a 3.5 sd1 in my 90. I have changed the air filter box (sd1) to two lg cone filters,now it runs ****e.It doesnt want to open up and starves its self. I have changed the needles in the su's to richer ones but that hasn't sorted it either. I would like to add that v8's are new to me and...

Gywn Lewes do some lovely diff guards and they are pretty cheap.You have to weld them on. I got one and it is a well designed bit of kit. Well pleased.

Be careful when choosing one on ebay. Make sure it says that it's suitable for a v8. I just bought one which stated for ALL MODELS,but that was not the case when i got it the gauge had a switch on the back for 3,4,6,cylinders. No good to me.

The oil pressure switch is a 3 pin type that is designed to cut the fuel pump out .So i need to remove it find the thread out and get a normal 1pin style. I thought i would wang it over with the capillery gauge,but ticking over the pressure is not coming up.I will try filling the oil filter up...

Unbolt along the top of the windscreen and then un bolt all the bolts along the back,simples. Only trouble is no where to mount the seat belt top mount.So you would have to sort that in advance. You could not fit all the bolts then it would be easy to swop over.

I'd back up a bit and drive through that wall. But if it makes them think twice your half way there. Thiefing gits!
