7 years later and I eventually got my 1989 Ninty original chassis galvanised. I think it's a great job. Cost 113 euro, cheeper than paint, and it's good on the inside too.

Thanks James, 8 years after striping my 1989 90 I am eventually getting back to it, chassis repaired and galvanised, donor disco striped, starting on axel rebuilds now.

From your last vid, there looks like water leak stain on rearmost cylinder indicating leak, however gasket looks fine. Maybe its old. Heavely water contaminated oil can "boil" off and appear like a h/g failure. Change the oil and do or get done a compression test. Significantly lower pressure...

The two issues sound unrelated to me. Leaking/low fluid/air filled clutch hydrolicks would give a low clutch pedal. High clutch pedal with clutch slip points to actual clutch pressure / friction plate. Could the brown stain be water releated ? Time will tell soon enough, hope I am wrong !!!

Look up "Split Copex" , a flexible conduit, split along its its length to allow easy access. Available by the meter from electrical wholesalers
