what a shock! LR's only (or so it seems) designer strikes again..... crash a new freelander nose first into a new rangerover and paste over a disco3!!! I think landrover have lost the plot re: target audience with certain models. the discovery seems to have evolved into a 7 seat rangerover...

as above folks, are there any benefits of fitting a k&n to a 300 engine?? its currently running with a kenlowe fan, EGR blocked and the diesel pump is going to be tweaked in a week or two by an ex LR development engineer who is local to me. i'm just hoping to let the little fella breath...

completely dpeendant on the roads as mentioned above. my findings on a 500 mile round trip from knutsford to glasgow (CC on the way, no CC on the way back) on the way, with the cruise control i noticed that on downhill sections it would brake gradually to keep speed and have to work harder...

another quick query, would fitting offset wheels give the same issues as using spacers??

selling up unfortunately due to me needing something a little more sensible for going self employed...... 3door 300tdi 117,000 tidy bodywork.... small ammount of rust starting to come through at 3/4 panel area... small dink in front edge of bonnet full 300tdi bullbars spots cheq...

i know it had no detrimental effects on an old beetle engine if that helps!!! it wasn't a snorkel but the air intakes put into the rear wings (porsche911 style) woth a filter 1/2 way through then straight onto the carbs.

thought the grinding kinda noise was coming from the transmission somewhere at first but it appears to be the bottom pulley. is this going to be something related to the crank or does it just need a good greasing? (engine oil was done a few weeks back and level is fine.)

300tdi, 1998 r plate. its been a little sluggish the last couple of days and this morning i noticed a horrible clunking kinda noise coming from the transmisison type area. its probably over due a full service so i'll sort that asap but in the mean time, how do you fill / topup gearbox...

whats the verdict on them??? i'm now thinking about sticking them on a second set of rims for when it goes off road but the question is what are they like on the road??? i don't want to change them at 2 in the morning after a nights shooting from the disco and would need to trek to work and...

just curious guys..... when getting said switch what would it be listed under??? oil pressure switch? taa!

just been on a longer run than my normal run to work and it was fine...... maybe it is just the switch but i'll check it out just to make sure. the engine doesn't seem (from the guage) to be running hot at all, it stays a fraction below halfway on the temp bar all the time.
