Hi Guy's Well it looks like i've got a leaking P gasket, It doesn't seem to be leaking that much, i'm suppose to be going away at the weekend in it, if i kept my eye on the coolant level do you think it'll be ok to carry on using untill the following wkend?

What are peoples views out of curiosity, do you reckon you get better mpg sitting at 70 on dual carriageway with cruise control on or off or doesn't make any difference??

Result!!!! Swapped the pulleys, i did have to cut a boss off the pulley that was from my new landy, cause it stuck out further otherwise which would of made the belt run off true. Put it back on, tested and seems to hav sorted it! Thanks

Tried putting new connector on small wire and no difference what's so ever!! Had a look at my spare alternator and it is a bigger pulley, will the pulleys swap over or am i better of just getting a new one??:confused:

Thanks for the replys Ok i'll give that a go, i have already sprayed that connection with a bit of wd40 and put it on and off the alternator connection a few times to try and clean it up abit, but yeah i'll put a new connection on and go from there. Thanks

I did find a wire that didn't have a brilliant connection on the back of the alternator, The lights are loads better not sure if it's spot on now or whether i'm looking at them too closely!!!:) And abit early to tell if it's sorted the rev counter as it was tempremental and didn't do it all the...

Ok thanks for your help, I'll start with the earth wire's and if i don't get much luck from that, then alternator cause i'm pretty sure the alternators reasonably new as it's pretty clean. Thanks

would the headlamp wiring affect all the lights to dimmer inc interior and even the yellow fuel light!! ok i'll check out the connections on the alternator, it doesn't look that old so they might be loose. Thanks for that.
