Glowplugs

Hi

Had trouble with cold starting problems, I've got a scrap landy with glowplugs in it that i wana swap,
My first question is, is there any difference between a set of glow plugs in a 95 plate and a 98?

The second one is, is there an easy way of getting the first glowplug out without disturbing the aircon pump too much?

here`s a more sens answer take them out and have a look, and while there out put a meter on them to check resistance-no res =no good

One thing I have learnt is that 200 and 300 tdi's really don't need glowplugs!! So you obviously have other issues!

are they likely do break when being removed - or is that just injectors?
