hi, if you look at the drivers side of the head, is there a diesel pipe which enters the head at the front by the inlet manifold or does it all enter at the rear of the head on the drivers side ?

Skim it, fit new bolts and ellring head gasket, it will be fine !

some times pressure bleeding can help !!!

may need the breather changing in the rocker cover ?

use a digital thermometer to check over temperatures of engine etc to see if every thing is actually as warm as it should be first.

without looking at crown, this seems to be a early 3.5 v8,.

if the thermostat is sticking open the engine will not reach operating temperature so change thermostat first, and give it a run, its surprising how much emulsification you can get from this problem.

Ellring head gaskets are so cheep that it just does not make sense to use after market crap.

unfortunetly it is a cracked head on ilet side probably on no.1 or no.2 inlet.

probably a warped manifold.

just make sure you use a good quality plug as cheap ones can some times be too loose !

hi, if it is none of the above it could be your pre delivery valves in your injector pump ! i have seen a couple make some strange noises !

if your camshaft locking nut is loose and the engine has been turning it will probably have damaged some valves etcetera.
