    Anyone know whats involved in reregistering a vehicle in UK? Am now living in London area.Has anyone sold a foreign registered vehicle? The DVLA website is not very helpful.Many thanks.

    Hi Sll,my td5 has 205k on vehicle,engine was changed at 160k.Gearbox at 200k.My Tdi only had a headgasket at 210k and has 240k on original engine.

    202,200 miles. engines done 70k of those. new gearbox about 10k ago.my 300tdi has 230k,original gearbox and only one headgasket.

    went and had a look,found the switch ok but no cable,plug or anything else. seems that when gearbox was replaced a few weeks ago the garage must have disconnected it. going back to see them tomorrow. thanks for the help.

    mine has exactly the same noise,when changing hub did you disturb abs sensors? dont want to have to visit diagnostics man if i dont have to.

    no not yet,only person i know that can disable sls is 2hrs drive away. i'll leave it as is for the moment. might remove compressor when i get time as cover has gone walkies.chatting my mate this evening he told me his 04 disco started to gyrate from side to side at 40mph resulting in vehicle...

    replaced my airbags last week,nice blue springs on there now,yellow light only comes on occasionally.goes out when engine is restarted.i left sensors in place just disconnected power to compressor.seems to drive ok.

    they do,happened on mine. might reset but i'd say youre looking at a faulty abs sensor.

    my disco failed nct(rep of ireland mot) because oil light wasn't working,they wouldn't do emissions test without it.pushed lead back on sensor but had to book back in for retest. 30 euro the poorer.

    series 3 bulkhead

    does anybody know could i fit a defender bulkhead to a 1981 88'' series 3 without to much difficulty? should be easier to find in a scrappy than a series 3 item.cheers
