i fitted a disco 1 rear axle to my 200tdi 90.disk brakes improved the braking.:) only problem was new rims needed spacers as the hubs are slightly different.(halfshaft nuts stick out).

thanks storm yr a gent.but i got a roof bar.im looking for SMALL lights.(ie: motorcycle spotlight size) already been to opticians. x-eng look like a good size but out of stock.

tried fleabay. there was a nice roof bar with lights that i missed. said it was originally from impulse 4x4. i mailed them but no reply.

does anyone know where i can get SMALL good spotlights for my roof bar? i dont want to look like a mod on a vespa driving down the road with huge lights. are motorcycle spotlights suitable? can anyone recomend a manufacturer or supplier? thanks.

i had problems with britp#rt before.i should have known better. i will look at parts with a fine tooth comb in future. but you know as well as i do,original parts are way over priced. can anyone recommend good patent brands you can trust?

i just spent the last few hours replacing the wiper switch on my 200. i cant relocate the small bolts into their holes so i remove the switch and somewhat unsurprisingly find that the bolt holes have not been threaded. why am i not suprised.i will take the part back to the supplier but have no...

running gear is fine. this problem only occured when i fitted new boost rims. 3-4 yr old bf goodrich all terrain tyres off previous rims. new wheel nuts.

thanks. i will check the exhaust. i had a new transfer box fitted last summer.not cheap. could hear a small whine noise (like the fan heater is on)and took it in garage.they said it was rear diff bearings. i replaced diff.now less noise but still small whining and now the 5th gear...

i purchased a stainless steel exhaust from double s xhausts prob 3 years ago.fitted it after manafacturers rear bracket problems. now i notice that the steel seems to be pitting or spoiling. have i been ripped off with a mild steel exhaust? it seems you have to watch what unscroupulous 4x4...

can anyone tell me if the disco 1 rear diff (1991) is a 10 0r 24 spline.i had the rear disk brake axle fitted on my 90 200tdi a few years ago and now the bearings on its way out.now looking to replace with a 2nd hand part and recon it myself. cheers.

bought bfg a/t. 3yrs ago.mst have done 4000miles+.little wear.had to adjust stops fully so at full lock they didnt rub radius arms.v.happy with them.quite a bit quietr than the m/t that were on my 90 before.
