Defender seats, how much to spend?

I've lost count how many I've retrimmed got it down to a fine art now and certainly recommend it I put a few heated seat kits in at the same time Whilst the seats aren't the most comfy they're practical and the retrim certainly improves things

Rear High 3rd brake light not working?

High level brake lamp wires in rear glass like heated window? Common for corrosion, undo wire where it appears through door card and check voltage with brake on If ok I Wud run a wire up to lamp unit Follow the rubber for glass and u can carefully tuck the wire behind the rubber to conceal Good...

    Jack recommendations

Get a Landy bottle jack the earlier red ones were heavier and seemed better made The black Tdci ones are ok but to any Tdci owners it's worth checking em cos they rust around the top ram when stored and often need coaxed back to life, worth checking rather than in crap weather when you needed it...

    defender steering frightening

Is this the 110 you're having issue on? Check tyre pressures too rears need 48 psi My previous 110 had 30 psi all round and with a bit of load in the back on its route home was scary, luckily I checked the tyres at a local garage and put them right to great success, the snaking disappeared...

    Tried a Defender tdci today

I'll agree the dash is huge and really protrudes at the middle I liked my td5 dash a lot and if I buy another Tdi I'll be retro fitting the later td5 dash in there My series 1 has acres of space and such a small transmission tunnel, you appreciate how much easier it is to have room for 3 in the...

Will Puma Tdci shockers fit a 300 TDi

Is it this 110 that has the steering issue? If so are the rear tyre pressures at at least 48psi av seen low tyre pressures cause nightmare handling esp the back tyres on loaded 110s

Will Puma Tdci shockers fit a 300 TDi

I've fitted cheapos for the farm hacks but seen them break in matters of months, replaced under manufacturer warranty but not the greatest Really rate boge, used em loads and towed without issues

    Tried a Defender tdci today

Fitted a few gearboxes now and I've lost count of the transfer box input shaft failures Pity Love the heater love the dash, miss the vent flaps in summer The running on to smooth gear change etc refinement is not to everyone's taste and if you're used to a Tdi it just feels odd
