I'm looking to change the shock absorbers on my 1998 300 TDi 90, it still has the original shockers and I want to keep it standard.

There's a lot of new unused TDCi shockers about on the cheap for a set of four and I wondered if they would fit my 300 TDi

Anyone ever done this, just trying to keep the costs down

Recently put a pair of Boge shocks on the rear of my y2k td5 (which was still on the originals at 220k....) - what an improvement, for about £35 each istr... A

Went across the Pyrenees mountains in mine with no problem on originals, but want to change them as they worked hard, mates replaced shockers snapped on the 2nd day, was hilarious watching him bounce across the border control being sick.

I've fitted cheapos for the farm hacks but seen them break in matters of months, replaced under manufacturer warranty but not the greatest
Really rate boge, used em loads and towed without issues

have terrafirmas all terrains on the back of me 110 mainly because i dont know where i will get sent and shes heavy carries a LOT OF KIT ,cracking shocks IMHO

Is it this 110 that has the steering issue?
If so are the rear tyre pressures at at least 48psi av seen low tyre pressures cause nightmare handling esp the back tyres on loaded 110s
