sounds like you need a clutch am afraid.

Have you checked that the fuel burning heater is not running, these fumes can get drawn in and smell awful.

Is it off a cylinder? if not could be crank damper pully.

Are your brake lamps working? Could be brake switch.

could be bcu problem. Is it auto or manual, do elec windows work when it wont start?

If you think front sensor has problem, probably said sensor out of range, pop sensor arm off at rad arm and check if it stiff or rough to move could be answer to the fault. Set your windows by taking them all the way down then up and keep finger on button untill it says window set.

No nut to crack off with td5. Is injector loom back in properly? Are all injector plungers located?
