A liter and a half of EP 90 API GL 4 is the one for the main box. Don't use GL 5, see my post down there about it the week before last..

Thanks for the explanation Andy. I'll check spec on EP5 but i don't recall any mention of API MT1. I'll replace oil ASAP with GL4. I wonder if draining the GL5 out is enough or will traces of it remain in the overdrive? Should I flush it out with petrol or so do you think??

The oil for gear, transferbox, diffs, swivels is EP90 GL4. I've heard that EP90 GL5 is not good news for series gearboxes etc, but motorfactors tells me that GL5 supercedes GL4 and will do no harm. I've used GL5 in overdrive, also rear diff. Trouble??

Yes leaking hub seals sounds like it could be the go. I know the swivels are past their best. Also the rear axle breather blocked which resulted in the diff pinion oil seal blowing. I think I also saw small amounts of oil weeping from the hub gasket on both sides of the rear axles but I need to...

If I press the brake pedal quickly, machine veers wildly to the right hand side. (series 3 88" with servo) If I press it slowly, shoes bite eqaully on both sides and it slows down in a straight line. Anyone?
