Truck cab diesel tank

Does any one know if the truck cab swb series 3's take a different fuel tank from the normal enclosed body ones? i whipped out my one and it fills from the top. Paddocks advertise a 'front fill' one. Will it go in is the big question...

Not sure but LWB s3 have there tank behind the rear axel and filler next to the rear offsidr wheel

Yeah i was wide to the rear mounted lwb ones alright. Mine is in under the drivers seat, filled from just behind the drivers door. it's the location of the connection of the filler pipe into the tank which has me confused ..

mine doesn't!,it's under the drivers seat and the filler's behind the drivers door.

When they say "front fill" they mean the tank is under the driver's seat as opposed to under the arse end which wiuld be "rear fill"

yup, hughesy is right, front fill=under drivers seat, rear fill=on the side of the tub

Apart from military, all SWB tanks are the same. (Well petrol & diesel are different, but most suppliers now only supply diesel, with a blanking plate for petrols)
