Mate, changing ur shocks and springs will make a massive difference. In ur part of the world I'd go for old man emu made in oz from memory 755 and 751 springs with nitrose sports shocks. Will make a massive difference to your Landy. Better for the soul than buying a landcruiser

I'm running koni heavy track raids with standard height flat dog springs on my 110 puma with similar use to what you describe. I've had lots of landlines with different set up and this provides good handling and reasonable off road articulation. If you were requiring more off road capability...

Turbo hoses can tend to collapse under boost on Td5 as they degrade cutting off airflow and stopping turbo from spooling up. Can you hear your turbo spooling up? We've had them here in the heat where they look fine outside but seem to delaminate and the insides collapse under boost and the turbo...

Pos - went back to it 48 hrs later. took the outlet pipe off ready to attach pipe and suck it through. thought I'll just switch the ignition on and see what happens..... fuel pixxing out all over the floor.. bonus. time and gravity must have pushed the air through. re attached the pipe put choke...

Guys, just fitted a new fuel pump to my 1983 rangie 3.5v8 on carbs. Its the facet type bolted to the rear outrigger on the passenger side. Trouble is its ticking away but not pumping fuel to the carbs. I assume I need to prime it but cant work out how. Can some one give me some tips please...

Guys - want to order a new steering wheel for a 2012 defender which hasn't arrived yet so cant count the splines. SOes anyone know are land rover still fitting two different types of steering column (36 and 48 spline) or have they standardised now? Anyone got a 2012 they can check for me?
