OK removed thermostat. Same issues when working engine harder.
Yes exhaust gases in coolant.
No oil in water. No water in oil.
Never misfires.
No white smoke after warmed up and the normal condensation evaporated off. Just pressurises and stats to blow a water out of header tank.

Yes as you say coolant pipes rock hard and will spew if I let it!
But after spending quite a lot on the top end , as previously stated (Heads skimmed and pressure tested etc)
Just seems such a shame as it runs so well!
Looking for big miracle! or any advise ;)

Wanted a good conditioned V8 3.9 EFI 36D Auto box
Mine engine pressurised / had Heads off and skimmed, all carefully rebuilt new Rad n Water pump, runs smoothly, load of power. No white exhaust smoke, but still pressurises when worked hard.
Suspect dropped liner or crack
Anyone got a good 36D...

Symptom;- Poor starting/ cuts out. Now mis-fire
(As per all other threads but.. may be a way to help diagnosing this TD5 Problem? )
After much buggering about n swapping parts;- (Listed at end)
Diagnoses
Removed all glow plugs (4)
Disconnected injector harness so injector could not fire.
Purged...

What can you advise..personally I think its Hydraulically locked
Neighbours TD5 had rising oil...
Mobile Mechanic stated that it needed change of injector seals and O rings. First call and I agree with this, bar maybe cracked/porous head later...

Thanks for the safety warning.
But if I use the Nanocom to inflate to 47cm each side via calibration.
Then pop take out the compressor fuse and set the ecu to springs
Then there is no way I can over inflate.
Question is , will swapping ecu to springs open all the valves!so i end upon bump stops...
