Hi Discool, Thanks for the info. Yes I need to replace the centre and tail pipe, so as my new strait through centre pipe has a flange fit I will just phone a few sites to make sure the new tail pipe has a flange too. Cheers.

Hello, I have acquired a replacement centre pipe which has bolt together fixings at either end but the 200tdi tail pipes seem to have the push and clamp fixing and also the 300tdi tail pipes unless the pictures on the websites are tosh. I'm confused as to which tail I actually need to fit the...

Cheers for all your help chaps. Turns out it was a soldered joint just below the stick it self had come off with age probaly. Cheers again.

Morning Chaps, Cant figure this one out, Its a 200TDi 1993(August) Using the side controll stick the side lights will turn on but the main running lights will not, when you puish the stick forward the high beam will not BUT when you pull the stick back the high beam does actually work...

Problem solved. What i did was nothing, then, It fixed itself! What a car. I think maybe as one chap said. The. Interior sensors may have been Damp from where it was sitting around for awhile. All good now Though

If its a 200tdi the manual states to take the turbo off too, I will be doing mine tomorrow, Its also recomended to use new studs and bolts. :D

Have spent hours trying different combination of key and fob unlocking. Do you mean you can just unplug the interior sensor, coause that would be ideal?

Ok progress nice one. Well I know the sunroofs do not leak and will have to check the windscreen but it was idle for a couple of months before I purchased it so maybe they just need time to dry out. Please tell how you disabled it? I will do that for a bit then have a play.

So a possible fault with the ultra sonic sensors. Will locate them a check it out.
