hi all got a ecu today its off a 3.5 disco the man stated on ebay would be ok for 3.9 plugged it in and yeh it started ticks over fine but wen u give it revs it spluters at about 4000 revs and cuts out wont start for a while then it does the same its like its not getting enough petrol or cud it...

so any 14cux as long as its from a classic

opened the ecu and its burnt out having trouble finding another one does it have to be the exact part num mine is prc9061 14cux is there any ov the others that work? please help cheers daz

tryed it this morning hear the pump on ingnition (with separate eath) try starting and nothing just cranking the 2 fans come on even wen cold wondering if it could be a temp sensor does anyone no if any of the sensors send information to the fuel injection ecu to cut pump power and wot ever...

yeh with the wire on it still only works on the ignition like normal while running is the pump surposed to stay on all time coz i think mine is

found the problem the fuel pump relay in order for it to click and work i have to put a eathed wire to one ov the terminals when relay is pluged in it clicks and you can here the pump traced the wire and it goes to the ecu would it hurt to keep this wire on permenatly or can it be rectified...

i have a 1991 range rover classic 3.9 v8 it not getting power to fuel pump every time i put ignition on the fans kick in and its stone cold if i unplug the air mass meter the fans dont kick in but still no petrol is it somthing to with the injection ecu or some sort of sensor please help cheers daz

i need a a bit ov help ive got a rr 1991 3.9 i was driving the other day when the it cut out and i noticed a orange ! sign on the dash for a couple seconds it wont start back up no fuel getting to rail any ideas cheers daz

cleaned the relay renewed some ov the conections its just like it wont tick over on gas it does sometimes is there anyware to adjust tick over cant seem to see anythink???

been playing with the truck today and now its doing the oppersite ok above about 2500 rpm and back to petrol wen under

im thinking ov putting a 300 tdi in my 1991 rr at present it has a 3.9 v8 auto i need to stay automatic due to disability just wondering if i will have to change the gearbox ect any help would be appricated
