Hi all Got the engine out today and moved onto the gearbox but couldn't decide how was best to get it out. Looks like the gearbox/transfer box are just one big unit or do they split somewhere. Just want to know hows best to remove them both really. If theres any instructions about that...

I had this issue too, Mine turned out to be the wiring go into the blower itself just behind the glove box. Big red wire going into the motor. Lot sof people mentioned the relays when I had my issues though

How do you tell the difference. I was told the ally ones were riveted on and it looks like this one once was. I didn't actually take it out so maybe it's fromm a different car.

Different car but I had a V6 Mazda before the rangey which developed the same problem going up hills, turned out there was a split in the pipe after the AFM, meant too much air was being sucked in and for some reason it was worse going uphill.... Just a little something to check for

Did you check the fuse board under the relays for burning??? That was my problem. Took the fuse box out and could see coroded wires which kept blowing the relay, cleaned these up and voila.

Sounds like a dead car battery to me if your getting no response at all. The door won't unlock with the key though?? Would have thought that should still work but mines a p38 so it may have changed on the L322

Ignore this please. Not sure what was going on, maybe it don't like the cold!! Took the battery off for half houor connected it, tried again and that has done the trick, hopefully........
