How do I remove a Mk1 gearbox and transfer box??

Hi all

Got the engine out today and moved onto the gearbox but couldn't decide how was best to get it out. Looks like the gearbox/transfer box are just one big unit or do they split somewhere.

Just want to know hows best to remove them both really. If theres any instructions about that would be even better!

It's a 1972 manual btw
