Got a knock as above on my 4.0 P38. Mainly when I brake or pull off and sometimes when turning a corner. Not a huge thud but just a gentle knock.
Got under the car this weekend and had a good fiddle while it was on the ground and then lifted it off the floor and had a good pull around and nothing, mounts, bushes look good and nothing seemed to move around at all. Just one bar going right across the front of the car moved slightly but I couldn't see how this would cause a knock.
Is there any bushes, mounts etc that tend to go on the P38's that are hard to trace?
