How can i clean and polish my disco to a showroom finish,every time i wash and polish it it never shines like some of the cars i have seen for same age,it is a disco 2 2003 i have some t cut but would that damage the top laquer?

Hi Brian,thanks for your reply,yes it is visible steam coming from the central air vent,No windows misting up, no coolant loss,what i was worried about was the heater matrix leaking but hopefully thats ok.

Disco 2,steam coming out of central air vents the other day ,heaters playing up ,if you set temp to say 21c when that is reached it cuts out then goes cold and stays cold,same with aircon set it to 16c once that is reached very often it cuts out then just warms up, Worried about the steam ,can't...

Just topped my disco2 with STP recharge gas and after filling noticed a very slight leak from recharge valve,I put the cap back on tight,checked again with cap seems ok took it for a run to seal the system,is there anything else I can do? Chris

Hi,can I use my Hawkeye total to test my air conditioning,I have just bought the STP recharge kit and want to make sure it's all ok before I top it up,not sure if the fan on the front of the condenser is working. Is it ok to run the compressor all the time .Have lost the shim off the front...

A local garage has put a bolt in,but no shims,so its working all the time ,is this ok,or should i fit some shims in.Are they the same as washers? Chris
