im thinking my problem might be the same as this i dont seem to have the ladder type ring on the drive shaft but is it possible i got two wrong bearings from seperate dealers? 2002 freelander td4

i have a 2002 td4 with the 3 amigos after changing a wheel bearing fault reader said front left sensor so i took apart and new bearing etc and cleaned up the drive and sensor which had grease on it.. can something have fallen off the drive on me i dont have a reluctor ring thingy on drive...

128 plus change miles on my freelander 02 still as sweet as ever!

wheel swap kinda worked vibration went(front n/side imbalanced) but whine still there so popped up on lift and ran... whine coming from wheel bearing front o/side so changed bearing.. fixed!! finally now just to get rid of the three lights id not like to mention ,.

thanks pocket took a hit but no more than changing tyres every two to three months! fingers crossed!!..

hey guys.. i had same whine front offside wrecking my head for last few weeks.. couldnt find any play in the wheel so put it up on the lift and with wheels on i got a guy to sit in it and start it up and drive in mid air and vwolla..:) clear as day noise of a beaing gone AND imbalanced...

i searched hi& low for the "perfect" freelander tyres every one seemed to be pointing me in direction of the bf goodrich advage t\a that was on it - its now a g grip style but i managed to get 4 pirelli scorpions today 225/55/17 (02 td4) to say its a different jeep is an undersatement.. super...

ill try change around tyres the weekend out of curiosity ill let ye know.. tyres on front after going to mondo wore on outside on drivers side only even after tracking was done just wondering should i get the tracking settings changed from 4 to 2 wheel drive toe in/out? would it matter

hey guys prob in the wrong place but a kind of general question about mods... did the bypass on the egr today and to be honest amazed at the difference it makes to the take off...to say there was a build up inside the manifold is an understatement..wondering anymore more quick easy tips for more...

had a petrol 1.8 that wouldn close again in frosty weather till the lock defrosted..used to have to hold it closed for a few miles...and hot water wouldnt get it either...just drive and eventually.. vwolla closed!! so before they wouldnt close and now there keeping me out!!:doh::doh:
