Thanks for the help everyone. I'm going to try the fire paste or goop (on well cleaned parts of course) as there don't appear to be any 3 hole gaskets available here. It should work as it appears that there are a lot of 2 1/4s out there that don't have gaskets. I am enjoying the learning curve.....

Been looking here and at parts catalogues and can't seem to find a part # for the gasket that goes between the bottom of the exhaust manifold and the down pipe. The local parts guy says that they don't have em. Doesn't make sense to me..... All that rattling and farting is irritating. Thinking...

Thanks a bunch for the input. I think I'll give her some Shell and Slick and see how it sounds. There seems to be enough oil on the outside of the gearbox to indicate that the inside could use a change anyway.....

So does anyone have an opinion about using Lucas Oil Additives? They claim to improve lubrication and quiet gears........ I don't want to screw things up but a quieter S-3 gearbox would be nice.
