yeah don't bother mate

i've seen the demo kit in my local motor factor, it's a bit of a con, they all claim to improve lubrication and quiet gears

to be honest you are better off spending the money on better oil

if you wanna improve your engine performance have a look at BG products

Power Enhancer > Home

we use their fuel system cleaner for each service in our workshop and it is without doubt and by far the best

BG44K for petrol engines
BG244 for diesel engines

they get your valves and pistons so clean you can read the part numbers on them again

have a look at the Shell lubematch tool for the correct oil

LubeMatch - United Kingdom

you might be able to get this imported from the states

Lubrilon Online Store

it's the original Slick 50 formula before Shell bought Slick 50 and started putting PTFE in it lol

Engine and Gear Oil Additives and Supplements - Molyslip Atlantic Limited

these are the only ones i'd try i think

hope it helps

modern oils have so many additives in already you could end up doing more damage than good, back in the dark ages when all that was available was plain mineral oil i would have said go for it, but now there is no need, you could make a very slight improvement, but on the other hand you have agreater chance of reducing your engine/gearbox life

the best thing you can do is put the best oil you can in and when it comes time for a change flush the engine with either a wynns or forte engine flush

A man after my own heart

Shell gear oils have a tendancy to reduce noise anyway from experience

the BG fuel system cleaners are defo worth a go just to get your engine back to it's original state

Wynns, Forte or BG engine flush will de carbonize the crankcase side and BG will do combustion side

BG CF5 (service item) is 4 times stronger than Forte fuel treatments and the 44K or 244 (initial clean up) is about 8 times stronger

We sell em at our place, i can sort you one out if you want
