Yes it was too long 8n this case but I put a washer on it and sorted the problem put finally.

Thanks for the information. I may just look for a scrap hub assembly in this case. Tried to put a picture on doing as you said but says not enough memory. Thanks again though.

I recently managed to snap a a stud the wheel goes on and and wondered if it's possible to get a new one and thread back in?
Also how do you add pictures on here?? Would of uploaded :/

Sorted now mate. Found something on here about the switch under the brake pedal and it he lights went OFF all of a sudden!! Made up though just if it happens again I will get a new switch. Thanks for the reply anyways! Much appreciated

Been trying to attach a photo but won't upload for some reason. I have two lights on dash one is YELLOW (a car going up a slope) and the other is YELLOW too TC traction control.
I changed the gear box fluid put plug back on and connections now shows those to lights.
I also changed the reverse...

Hi all just fitted new swit h for reverse light.
New switch works as bulbs illuminated but they STAY ON!
ANY advice would be really helpful.

I have just fitted a new reverse switch and I turned the ignition on (Not in gear) and the reverse lights are stuck on! Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Hi. I ch3cked the fuse and there's 12v to the end of the wire that connects to the switch so just waiting on part and hopefully will be fixed. I bought 2 litres of gear fluid too as it ****ed out when I took the old switch out. Thanks for the reply.

Ok just tested the terminals end of the wire to switch there's continuity and 12v. I was informed if the terminals complete the circuit the lights would go on without the switch... NOTHING. Any suggestions people. I have pre ordered a new switch anyways hope it solves it.
