I have just fitted a new reverse switch and I turned the ignition on (Not in gear) and the reverse lights are stuck on! Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Add another washer to it for some reason the switch is too long.

As above. Add a washer or two until the lights only come on when reverse is selected.
