I recently managed to snap a a stud the wheel goes on and and wondered if it's possible to get a new one and thread back in?
Also how do you add pictures on here?? Would of uploaded :/

Studs only snap because they've been over tightened and or the threads are oiled/greased. Wheel studs should always be tightened with a correctly adjusted and correctly used torque wrench (it's amazing how many people are clueless of how to use a torque wrench), and must always be fitted dry of any lubrication.

It is possible to fit new studs, but they are pressed in from the back of the hub. This can be a pain as often there's insufficient room behind the hub to get the new stud in place. Fronts aren't too bad, but the rears can be a pain to do.

To post a picture simply click the "Upload a File" box at the bottom of the screen, then find the file you want to upload on you device.

Thanks for the information. I may just look for a scrap hub assembly in this case. Tried to put a picture on doing as you said but says not enough memory. Thanks again though.

I would find a scrap one and press a new bearing into it first making sure that you pressed it in the right way round first.

I just whacked my new studs in...it wasn't pretty but did the job..After the 1st one there becomes more n more room for the following studs....This was on the fronts tho.....not sure how the back one's work..and hope not to find out.
