On a 2" (or more) lift they bring your axles back into line and help reduce the vibration, but you may need wide yoke props as well, do a search as Trewey did a write up on this a while back

Its more likely to be coming from the rear, D3's have known problems with the electric handbrake system, get it sorted sooner than later because if it siezes up it can/ will be expensive to repair

Don't know how old you are, Saga (for old gits) are pretty cheap '87 90 with 200Tdi and 2" lift, full NCB £132.

I ask this question as I know nothing about the TD5 lump.
Are TD5 engines as good as 200 / 300Tdi ? Can I expect to get 150 - 200K out of one like the good old 200's (with regular maintenance etc)
