Its all waxoyled so pretty black, except for orange shocks, a SuperGaz Steering Damper in bright yellow & a silver fule filter just fitted.

Bit more details car runs fine took it for a run uphill with beams and rear screen on and heating pulled ok did not struggle.
Have noticed when I start it from cold the battery light stays on for 1 min if leave it ticking over or just until i get moving.

Checked Dizzy no problems there all dry and well shiny and new as you would expect from a 2 month old Power spark dizzy cap arm and lucas coil.

Getting to grips with my last few annoying issues before we put new arms poly bushes on etc.. and finish off the waxoyl job for winter.
I don't have access to diagnostic tools or multi meters and prob wouldn't know what to do with them even if I did.
Only use it at the weekend so if it sits...

3.9 V8 EFI 90 RRC runs fine when I get up to 60 ish or just general higher speed if I lift off i.e. coasting I get an immeadiate noise (whining whirring grinding noise) and as soon as you apply the right foot again it stops..
At low speeds I either don't get it or its not loud enought to...

I have been searching for and not getting very far....
I just wanted a list of Belt part numbers for the Engine.
i.e. All the Belts on the front of the engine.
Not been able to find anywhere with a simple you need these list... Even Rimmers etc... make it a pain to search & not found...

Not read all the pages... but I have Rev Drop when in R or D and had the hot stall issue where it would just keep dropping when out and about. This is a 1990 3.9 EFI.
I changed the Stepper/Idle and cleaned inside the chamber.
I also removed the Flame Trap and replaced it + cleaned out all 3...

Sunday says SUNSHINE so saving my OCD clean up til then... will find a how to guide to get the plenum off and do it all properly in reverse and hopefully will have a better breathing V8 come sunday pm...

When my Flame Trap arrives will swap that and reattached all the pipes I will recheck the idle stepper with my old one. Quite exciting getting the old rubber gloves on and getting in amongst it.... I am learning bit at a time and by friend who rebuilds them for fun and owns one of the first 20...

This is the age old issue I have read about....
Cold starts runs fine for 10-15 mins then you do a hot start drive for 2-3 mins and first time I stop rev meter drops and drops then cuts out.
Does this every time after even when pulling on the drive at slow speed it cuts out.

Got access to and anytihng I want from a 94 RRC going to the big crusher int the sky.... so far took a few bits I needed for mine but interested in retro fit of the Cruise control... I have the switch steering wheel and vaccum thing off the throttle and pipes + brake switch, shave the AMR2009...
