hi all,
I’d love to see your design if you have a short wheel base Series or 90 that you’ve adapted for camping! Either sleeping inside or in a roof tent.
Post your pictures at will!

I believe I have the bottom one, I have a 1968 series 2a 88" that was supposedly fitted with LWB brakes at a later date.

Thank you, it's looking like what i'll do. :)

Hi guys,
I've been having a little issue with my clutch lately (series 2a with joint reservoir for brake and clutch) and decided to take off the master cylinder and inspect it. Halfway through the job I realised that I didn't need to (don't ask). I managed to snap the metal line from the...

I removed the pedal spindle bolt and oiled inside, I still have the same issue. I will check the height adjuster bolt tomorrow but I don't know if that will be the issue. Should the spindle just come out once I've taken the bolt out - I might examine it tomorrow.

Yeah I think I eventually settled on GB springs. Not sure about which shocks to go with though - I've heard good and bad things about most.

My question seems to have been answered. I guess it's going to be a switch to parabolics then :)
I appreciate the help.

Because of my age, i couldn't get insured on a Landy that doesn't have classic insurance.
-
is it possible to switch to a coil sprung chassis while retaining classic status and therefore stay tax exempt?
According to the following page:
Rebuilds and the law - by Glencoyne 4x4 (Thetford)
The chassis and suspension count separately as far as the law is concerned, so switching to a...

Just wondering, why do so many Land Rover fans seem to hate chequer plate
I was considering fitting a little to my Series 2a - but why the stigma?
Enlighten me.
