    Break drum pad arm tensioner

We went through the first ones and reset the same way figuring correct.. It wasn’t until the second we realized the first springs were incorrectly set wrong and seems to match the repair manual. The left rear are good now but need to open the right tomorrow again. They may work but figure not...

    Break drum pad arm tensioner

Need help on 1991 rear drum kit. Ordered new drum assembly kit. New break arm didn’t come with brake pad tensioner peg to adjust tension. I’m assuming it’s a nice to have and not something I should just place pads w springs? Any suggestions?

1991 200TDI Fuel Filter Replacement Priming Necessary?

Thanks Dag. I will likely still fill up and may even include a 50/50 of Diesel conditioner or cleaner and then just drop back in.. can’t hurt but good to know no issues w your experience with the self purging. I shouldn’t have any issues if it won’t prime manually.

1991 200TDI Fuel Filter Replacement Priming Necessary?

Thanks guys. Was aligning but makes me feel better to see. Sounds as long as the filter is full or nearly full.. there shouldn’t be any issues if not primed.. But, will fill, keep bleed screw cracked and try prime lever regardless. If not will just turnover then tighten down bleed. Haven’t see...

1991 200TDI Fuel Filter Replacement Priming Necessary?

I’m going to replace my fuel filter on my 200tdi D90. It’s mounted in the bulkhead and appears to have a priming level (circled in picture attached) but have never used. I’ve read differing posts and opinions saying priming is needed or not needed depending. If I fill the new filter with as...

    1991 Defender 90: Wheel Mod#ANR4583PMs Work w/Rear Drums?

Would the wolfs require the 60mm studs then I take it? Is there another standard tubeless rim that would be a better fit? Seems like the wolfs are durable and well praised so sounds like will just have to order up the longer studs along with rims

    1991 Defender 90: Wheel Mod#ANR4583PMs Work w/Rear Drums?

Hi. This topic seems to be beat to death but wanted to beat it a little more for good measure! I have a 1991 Defender 90 and looking to buy tubeless rims vs. the tubed currently on it. I'd like to avoid using spaces and seems the ANR4583PMs are the most readily available wheel that might fit...

    Temp guage

Yeah. I just checked again. Stout wire w alligator clips.. confirmed ohms were good. Connected to guage center post and then to batt ground. Same thing.. temp goes up. I dunno. Guessing I should just buy and try the guage. Any knowledge of the proline brand? 130 vs 330 for oem.
