Hi. This topic seems to be beat to death but wanted to beat it a little more for good measure! I have a 1991 Defender 90 and looking to buy tubeless rims vs. the tubed currently on it. I'd like to avoid using spaces and seems the ANR4583PMs are the most readily available wheel that might fit. Can anyone confirm this rim will fit the rear drums without issue, use of spacers, etc? I'm back in the US and the sales rep couldn't confirm which made me nervous.. shipping nearly matches wheel costs! Thank you all in advance!!

The British army retro-fitted "Wolf" wheels to their 1985 onward fleet. (ANR4583PMs )
The only issue is that the original studs are slightly shorter than the ones intended for "Wolf" wheels, however the Army were happy to stick with them.

They do not require the longer stud, but the do require a higher torque setting when tightening them up. this is what the British army used when they switched the old fleet to the hD "wolf" wheels. I have these fitted to my series (drums all around) using the higher torque setting with no problems.

Not necessary, you can change them if you want but Land Rover and the army studied it and discovered that increased wheel but torque was safe when using short studs with wolf wheels.
I will take a photo of the updated data plate fitted to my vehicle which gives the new torque setting

Sorry, I may not have been clear, as others have added, the British army were quite happy to bolt Wolf wheels onto otherwise un-modified vehicles that used identical axles, hubs and studs as yours.
