    1991 Defender 90: Wheel Mod#ANR4583PMs Work w/Rear Drums?

Would the wolfs require the 60mm studs then I take it? Is there another standard tubeless rim that would be a better fit? Seems like the wolfs are durable and well praised so sounds like will just have to order up the longer studs along with rims

    1991 Defender 90: Wheel Mod#ANR4583PMs Work w/Rear Drums?

Hi. This topic seems to be beat to death but wanted to beat it a little more for good measure! I have a 1991 Defender 90 and looking to buy tubeless rims vs. the tubed currently on it. I'd like to avoid using spaces and seems the ANR4583PMs are the most readily available wheel that might fit...

    Temp guage

Yeah. I just checked again. Stout wire w alligator clips.. confirmed ohms were good. Connected to guage center post and then to batt ground. Same thing.. temp goes up. I dunno. Guessing I should just buy and try the guage. Any knowledge of the proline brand? 130 vs 330 for oem.

    Temp guage

This post is quite old but having the same issue. Green thread slipped into housing. Reassembled everything finally.. runs for 1-2 min and temp guage is high then max. Engine is cool. On edge of ordering new guage but pricey... u replaced the ground wire which attached to center post of guage...

LED Dash Light Conversion - Access

Ok. All good as far as white bulb connector. Was able to thread the turquoise back and also able to find slack in speedometer cable helping access. However.. the black bulb socket wont seat all the way (see pic).. led head too far! Ha. Should be easy project gone astray. **Can I ask what...

LED Dash Light Conversion - Access

Ok.. just pulled up pic of another guage which shows the white piece extending out. Guess I need to reasses. If I did unscrew the white from the turquoise which caused it turn run loose... I may still be on right track to reinstall this one guage. Will attempt the pull off push on concept next...

LED Dash Light Conversion - Access

I dont think.. thread was loose and fell in when the bulb was pulled out and it wouldn't push in. The white casing around the bulb connector looked like it had the threade female end within white connector so figured that turquoise piece attached within. Not home but will check it out again when...

LED Dash Light Conversion - Access

Believe me.. it was not my intent starting out!! Once that threaded extension was loose, I couldn't reattach the bulb connector. Reluctant now to do the rest.. Removing the one temp unit allowed me to stabilize the thread for reinstall of bulb :-/ but doing rest.. I may need more room. Thus...

LED Dash Light Conversion - Access

Thanks! You said your bulb sockets are push on.. mine appear to have the green threads which the bulb socket plugs/pushes into.. I thought the same and think it broke loose. Touched up w tab of jb weld at housing edge to hold. I'm assuming they are all that way but wonder why some are push on...

LED Dash Light Conversion - Access

Hi. Trying to remove guage cluster to fit LEDs on LHD 90.. Do I have to remove more than just the guage cluster panel or dash and other too? To free of more space, I was hoping to disconnect the speedometer cable but even reaching the connector is a challenge.. Not breaking anything would be a...

Part Selection - Number Series Help

I am sure this is a silly question.. I just purchased my first LR90 ('91 200tdi) and selecting parts online. They give a few options for say fuel sending units with series "TO AA243342", then two others. I figure this should correspond to the VIN serial number or last 6 digits but not seem to...

    Newbie!

Hi all! Another newbie here... I just purchased my first LR. '91 Defender 90 (200tdi). I am currently stationed overseas in southern Italy and have been drooling over the 90s and 110s for awhile now. We head back to the United States in August and finally found one so took the plunge. All...
