Best Battery???

Confused again???

Gonna need to replace my battery soon...FL V6 running all the toys Inc...

Spotlights, sat nav, inverter, laptop,dvd, and sometimes fridge or coolbox etc etc etc (will hopefully be adding a winch at later date)

Dont really want to take more space up with additional battery inside motor.

Heard the optima range are good but are they worth the money, which would I need ...any alternatives,advice, experience, places to buy really appreciated.

Normally discos with **** drivers, but not adverse to dragging any "proper 4x4" out of the sh1te.

Just come across this....Note no boards/ropes/winches needed for freelander....http://automagicly.com/peakdistrict/movies/LRUK_DERBYSHIRE_OCT2006.wmv

Not a lot of footage of freelander as it wernt on end of a rope or stuck.

Maybe itll keep you quite for 20 minutes...maybe youll want to join me somtime....but you might want to wait till I get my winch fitted

Disco stuck a lot of time
Defender stuck some of the time
RRC fooked fuel tank (note the other V8 owners doing a mad max)
D3 didnt want scratches.
Somat else knackered along the way but forgets now and towed back to Liverpool.

50mm Lift + 3"-4" depending on which tyres I am running.

Battery suggestions anyone????

The FL puncture was mine but the D3 didn't get up that lane at the first try because he was still on the road setting - his words not mine

Npt thfirst proper $ x 4 that has been left wondering what went wrong...nor do I think its the last

Think that was the trip i did after asking what condition Stanage was is as hadnt done it in about 15 years and then in and old series, only to be slated for owning a freelander and daring to take it off tarmac

had to say at bottom a few weeks ago after I got a couple of puntures on another nearby lane and wasnt going to rik it in ****ing down rin with odd size wheels and tres with no mor spares

The OPTIMA batteries are worth the extra money. you wont find better

Cheers aussie... Any ideas of the model id be looking at for with above mods inc winch??

dont know the models, but I would go for a yellow top cranking/cycling battery.
