Hmm. Jury's still out but not looking good. I ordered some EAS bits off this company in the US as they've got pretty good press in most of the forums. The order was a bit complicated I'll admit and it wasn't too big a surprise that they stuffed it up. What's ****ed me off though is they stopped answering emails (after the payment went through. they were brilliant before the order was placed) and so when I finally rung 'em and spoke to "Dennis" the fella who'd been signing all the emails (and who's been praised by name in some forums) he appeared pretty uninterested and claimed he didn't remember the transaction. Odd.

Still lets see if they do sort things out in the end...:mad:

cheers irish. i'll give 'em a couple more days to sort it out. as i'm in germany the UK tech support might not be very interested but maybe i can appeal to their better nature! :)

Have a look through these emails and don't say I didn't warn ya!

After the guy first said he couldn't recall my order I sent him an email to remind him. The exchange below starts with 'is reply..

Hi Rasheed,

My apologies for the confusion, all of the orings are the Valve Block oring kit, RVH10030-kit.......()

The mounts were on back-order and have just come in, I'm not sure why the desiccant wasn't included, it is instock, I will have them both shipped to you. Please verify the address you want they sent to so I can update my system.

Thank you, and again my apologies for the confusion.

Dear Dennis,

Happy 4th of July.

I've still not received the mounts or the dessicant and this time there was no confirmation of dispatch beyond your email below.

Please advise.

Kind regards,
Rasheed

Dear Dennis,

I have now called you twice and sent you at least a dozen emails. The thing has dragged on for two months.
I confess my patience is wearing thin.

Please reply to this email telling me exactly what you are doing about my missing order.

Sincerely,
Rasheed

Hi Rasheed,

I've instructed the warehouse to re-ship your order, they informed me this morning that the mounts are out of stock, my supplier is still backordered on them, going on 3 months now. I can ship the desiccant separate or hold it for delivery when the mounts arrive.

Thank you,

Dennis

Dear Dennis,

On June 23rd you wrote that the mounts had just come in. Just scroll down and you'll find it. Today you are saying they're 3 months out of stock. It sounds like your warehouse people have no idea what they are doing or are flat out lying to you.

By all means ship everything together, I don't want you to have double and triple shipping expenses on my account. But kindly do me the courtesy of keeping me informed rather than have me chase you up all the time.

It has not been a pleasant experience purchasing from Rover Renovations and I'm just waiting for it to end.

Kind regards,
Rasheed
Hate being taken for a mug.:mad::mad:

Did an EAS overhaul with some parts from the Dutch guys and some from these folks. Changed all seals, O-rings, piston cylinder, diaphragm and am waiting for new compressor suspension mounts and dryer dessicant. Not critical stuff but if it ever comes it would allow me to say that the job is done.

To be fair I should now close out this thread. The parts all arrived eventually and I finished the job. So they did sort me out in the end, no complaints but it was quite a ride.

I have used them on four occasions and had no problems at all.

I have also used island4x4 here in the UK and have had good service, but have had two orders arrive incorrect from them, which was sorted out.So i guess no one is perfect:doh:
