p38 4.6 base idle setting

hello all can anyone tell me how to reset the base idle on my 1997 4.6 hse

what is it at? mines usually around 700rpm.

i'd assume you'll need rovacom/testbook or similar

it doesnt have one 0 rpm basically complete idiot owned vehicle before and rarther than cure inlet air leaks removed the anti tamper plug and screwed in the air bleed, air leaks now fixed but now the stepper seams reach its limit before acheving idle which should be 720 give or take so rarther than guess there must be a procedure to set base idle ?

do you have a means of viewing the ecu data from the enjin?

(guessing here) you could try adjusting it and see what effect it has on the ecu data?

No problem,just adjust the bypass screw to give 15-30 steps at idle- engine hot all loads off.(Viewed on Testbook via live data.)
