Anyone identify this pipe on 4.4 2004 please

i thought i should probably start a new post and throw this out there.
saint v8 has already had a look for me and couldnt see one on his.
it connects to somewhere underneath the head but i need to get under and have a closer look but the cow is stuck on its bump stops..

any ideas?

Only thing I could find is the Front Diff Breather Pipe as attached....

nope, not on mine...

take the cover off and have a look?
or leave well alone.........

OK FOund it...

It is the Front Diff Breather and should be under the rocker cover...as can be seen on one of my pics from when I did my water pump, you can see the top of the pipe popping out from an aperture on the top of the rocker cover and this sits under the acoustic engine cover!

you are a gentleman and a scholar
i am going to post a couple of pics of my under bonnet wiring tonight as the main loom from the big black ecu box and also other wiring under the bonnet seems to be wrapped in insulating tape and i wondered if its been tampered with at some point

my allcomms is close i can sense it, stand by for global forum meltdown...
