Hi All
I’m new to this forum.
I have recently bought a 1981 RR.

It’s driving me mad, I was RELIABLY informed that the carby is dead so I got a used replacement.
The pain is getting the old twin zenith off to swap it for the replacement.

Is there an easy way ?????

The bolts are more than a pain in the butt to get to, even after modifying, (bending) a spanner, would it be easier to remove the whole manifold with the carbys in place?

I was told it’s easier / better to leave the manifold alone but I’m beginning to wonder.

ANY advise would be most welcome.

Thanks
Steve

Just in case anyone else tries the same, I managed it just.
Get two 1/2" open ended spanners cut one down to a handle length of 1.5 inches, two at most. The other bend the head to an angle of about 90 degrees ish. It will work but it's still a major pain.
