depends what you mean by mud pluggin, laning round here in mid Wales finds some mud:). but no I don't do play sites - never seen the point.:crazy_driver:

So Trax, where did you go for your BFGs? I've just started thinking about investing in some but haven't got as far as working out the best way to get them....

just had four BFG A/T fitted on me disco by event mobile tyres,
they come to your home or work at a time to suit you.
they cleaned the ally seats on the rims fitted new valves and balanced all four wheels for £435.

sorry forgot to say,
the last set were on there nearly eight years and they had been off roaded and done a lot of motorway work.
definitley worth the money and they look nice.:D

Just got a quote from them, they want an extra £40 on your price to come to me. That's living in the sticks for you!

So anybody know what the difference is between a 104S All Terrain WW tyre (as sold by event tyres) and the all terrain KO?

i was going to be really sad and go out and photograph each one and put the pictures on here, that was untill the wife said what a ****, do women not understand that when you pay that much money for something and it looks good, you want to show it off.:D

Well I'd like to see what they look like on a Disco before shelling out all that cash.

There you are, a direct request for a photo. What more excuse do you need?:D

No I've resisted the urge to take pics of em - for the moment:D

I got em from Severn Fast Fit on the Dyffryn in Newtown (Powys) if you must know - £99 per tyre all in.

they are BFG AT K/O 235/70R16

the front 2, have been on for ~ 20000 miles and without going mad there don't seem to be much difference in tread depth between them and the new ones :):):):) - these tyres live for ever:D

as for mud - round here you don't see a lot of MT's on the farm landies - but lots of AT's and Calmac AT copys

Bloody 'ell! Looks like it's going to pay to shop around. The local BFG stockist just quoted £141 each for KO's. Said he'd knock 10% if I bought 5.

Trax's £99 price is looking a bit good at the mo. Pity I don't live in Wales. (Never thought I'd say that! )

:behindsofa:

Hey Sparks, why not live in Wales, think about it; laning capital of the UK, lovely beaches, cheap BFG's.....on second thought you lot might make it a bit to crowded - come visit, spend money, come back another day:welcome2:

I moved here 4 yrs ago - best thing I ever did, no more motorways just flaming tracters and caravans:doh::doh:

I was just kidding, I visit Wales a lot. It has it's pro and cons just like anywhere else, got to hand it to the welsh though, they're good at doing scenery. :)

So Battenberg, how do the General Grabbers compare to the BFGs mileage wise? I've heard people talking about getting 80,000 miles out of a set of BFGs. That would be pretty much fit and forget in my case. If the generals are similar then I'll definately have a look.
