Hi all, I've just bought a non-runner Disco v8 auto and I can't get the engine to fire up.
I have one fob which appears to operate the central locking correctly and replacement non Disco 2 ignition key.
The car hasn't run for at least one month, had a completely flat battery. When I put in a charged battery, the CL worked fine, the motor turns over but no start. There is plenty of fuel in the car.
Under normal conditions can you hear the fuel pump working, before firing the engine?
I put Hawkeye on the car and the only engine fault was a low voltage fault which after being cleared hasn't returned.
All my previous Discos have been diesel so I'm not sure where to start so any ideas wil be greatly recieved.
