In the UK, thankfully.
Okay, possibly not wrong but when you restored all or part of your Landy, looking back, is there owt you would have done differently. For instance, I am painting my S3 chassis with red primer and tractol paint. This may prove a folly but I wont know for a year or so after the rebuild. :)

paid a so called pro LR mechanic to do about 5 jobs on the car of which he fooked up 4 of them and I had to re-do them myself and had paid him already!

fookin clown!

why:confused: did you fit 37" tyres..

No it's the body work!!

It's all scratched from trees and branches and tree sliders are mullered.
And also the tyres are M/T and give a nice shake at 70mph and it has caused the PAS box to leak due to the shake.

And fitted +2" springs and HD ones at that and going over a speed bump is like laying on a bed of nails.

But all theses problems I still love her :-/

I very stupidly jumped straight in without knowing a single thing about Discos with my 1st one. Ended up with an absolute basket case and didn't even bother putting it in for it's next MOT. Paid way over the odds for it too... :(

Got the 2nd one for an absolute song which I went on to restore from a rust-riddled factory standard example to the highly modified monster it is today.

The only thing I'd have done different, or more to the point - not at all - is to NOT wax seal the inside floor plan after it was all welded up. A bloody nightmare in the warmer weather as it heats up and makes a ruddy mess.
Just need to figure out a way to get rid of it all now as it's gonna get a coat of 3M Stonechip and a lashing of paint! :D
